Carmine (Zop) Conte, arrived at the club in the not too distant past and worked his way up from the thirds through the ranks to lead the firsts into a Semi Final (1999/2000). Carmine is a quality clubman who has become an integral part of not only the Firsts, but of the whole club. A dependable sort of player who will 9 times out of 10 pull us out of a hole, whether we are batting or bowling. The sort of player and person that makes playing cricket enjoyable and fun.
