Round 1 of a new season has come and gone. With a damp few days before hand it was uncertain if there would be any cricket played, but fortunately come match day the skies cleared a little and Round 1 kicked off.
The results for the Wyndham Cricket Club could not have been better. All three teams managed to emerge victorious over their oppostion which is a fantastic start to the season for the club, the Committee and the Coaching Staff.
But perhaps the most significant factor for the club was the fact that there were 11 players particpating in their first appearance for the Wyndham Cricket Club. Of the 11 "Newbies" 5 represented the club in the Firsts, 2 in the Seconds and 4 in the Thirds.
