Round 2 offered a new challenge and a new opportunity for the club. Long time players of the club, could not remember the last time that all three grades won in both Round 1 and Round 2 and here was a chance to do just that.
Unfortunately the club was unable to take that opportunity this time around, however the results were quite good just the same. Both the Firsts and the Seconds won quite convincingly and the Thirds went down fighting in a last over loss.
This is clearly the best start to a season that the club has had for many, many years and the aim is to continue progressing forward and not to stand still. The multitude of new faces around the club, are certainly making their presence felt and stimulating plenty competition for positions.
A very healthy position indeed....
