Round 5, what a great day for the club with all three teams winning in style. Centuries, Club Records broken and a hatrick.
The ones got back on the winners train by accounting for lowly St Johns. Although the win looked to be hard fought, the batting order was shuffled around a fair bit after the last round loss.
The Seconds broke the long standing team highest score after knocking up a huge total of 4/498 with twin centuries to Paul Herbert and Cambo. This provided an Outright victory with Cambo grabbing a hatrick in the second innings.
The Thirds got back on an even keel after accounting for Melton and were very unlucky not to have pulled off an outright victory themselves. Still the victory would more than satisfy the skipper....
Round 6 provides yet another opportunity for all three teams to win again.......what a challenge..
