Henry played mostly in the lower grades mainly as a Wicket Keeper/Opening RH Bat and was also a handy RH offie. He was the heart and soul of our lower grade sides and he was also excellent at educating the younger guys, with their cricket.

After playing for many, many years he was finally rewarded for all of his hard work at the club, by playing in the 94/95 E Grade Premiership side.

He served on the AHSOBCC Committee (as it was known then) for many years and has also served on the WSUCCA executive. Other highlights include his famous partnership with Ken Haining in Henry's only A Grade game in the early 80s Joining Ken Haining
after the side was 7 down for not many at tea, Henry and Ken defied the StAndrews bowling attack for two hours to play out a thrilling draw.

Henry is fondly regarded as Big H around the club and is an absolute legend. A great man and a better person you could not hope to spend time with.

He became an intrinsic part of the club and his shoes are extremely hard to fill. Although we see "H" very rarely these days, his presence is always welcomed.

The club golf day is named in his honour.
